Still Active And Starting To Add More

This is a lifelong project so it tends to go in waves. Money, time and finding good deals all play into it. Lately though I’ve shifted gears back to this project and have found some pretty good deals. While at the National last weekend I even found two of the 2001 Topps Reserve PSA Autographs in the $2 box of a seller. I was quite happy to find them in person because buying online seems to just be a necessary means these days but these cards online would have easily been $10 each with shipping.

Ultimately, I’m always active on this site and the want lists are always updated so even if you don’t see a post please reach out and hopefully we can make a deal.

Spring Is In The Air

Pitchers and catchers have reported which got me back in to the swing of things with my quest to collect one of every card Topps made in 2001. I purchased a large lot last summer which really helped and then in the last few months I’ve been actively selling pieces of my collection to help fund new cards for my 2001 Topps collection. I hope to stay more active with the blog this year and have updated my want list so please, let me know if you can fill any of the holes.

Opening Day…In More Ways Than One

Mail 4/6/15

Today marks the beginning of the 2015 season and another day for me to “open” some mail.  The cards pictured are all eBay purchases so they aren’t all that exciting but in staying with the “opening day” theme I received 4 of the last 5 2001 Opening Day Team Stickers.  I actually ordered the last one, the Milwaukee Brewers, but it is being shipped in a seperate package for some reason.  I’m looking for to that so I can mark it as complete!

This Week’s Haul

Big thanks to Henry at trinitydawg22@gmail.com for the 2001 Topps Traded Chrome and Topps American Pies. We were able to make the trade through the Facebook group Topps Baseball Card Collectors.  He’s a collector of Topps Heritage so if you have any to trade let him know.

The 2001 Topps Starts Gold cards are from 311music1004 on eBay. These cards are both numbered to just 499!
